Acai Bowl

The other Mrs. P told me I could get these smoothie packs from the store (Don Quixote has the cheapest one btw). So I started making my own Acai Bowl. It's good, it's healthy, and it's easy to make!

1 packet of Acai (Rio blend)
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1 banana (can be frozen)
1/2 cup apple juice (or yogurt)
1/4 cup granolas
1/4 cup fresh blueberries (optional)
half of a banana, sliced

Blend first 5 ingredients together, pour in a bowl (or cup), top with blueberries, sliced bananas, and granolas.

Note: you can definitely use fresh fruits if you prefer, however, I would recommend you have one frozen item to help with "thickening" the smoothie other wise it'll be all melted. Also, if you ever got any of the fresh fruits over-riped (like banana skin is all brown or strawberries are super soft and dark in color) as if you're about to throw them away, those are the best ones to freeze and reuse for smoothies. Over-riped fruits are usually sweeter, better to make smoothies with. So next time you come across them, just put them in ziplock and toss in the freezer. :)
