Mr. P is sick. For the strangest reasons, whenever he gets sick, he is 10 times worse than lil P or myself. Lil P got sick 2 weeks ago, only lasted 4-5 days, and I had a sore throat and was able to fight it off in just a few days. Mr. P on the other hand, he's been sick since Monday, and it's progressively getting worse. I think part of the reason he he isn't trying to fight it off. I tried to give him extra vitamins and zinc but maybe he just has a far worse immune system than lil P and I. (or that I take care of lil P more than him?!)
So I made him chicken noodle soup.
small bunch of spaghetti noodles (break in halves)
1/2 cup frozen peas and carrots (defrost and pureed)
1 chicken breast (cut in cubes)
1/2 cup of chopped cabbage
1 can of chicken broth
dash of salt and pepper
Pour the can of chicken broth in a pot, add in spaghetti noodles, veggie purees, chicken breast, and choped cabbage and let simmer until noodles are cooked through, about 20 minutes. Add in salt and pepper to taste.
Since I couldn't spend much time with Mr. P due to his cold, I decided to make a no-cook bento for my sister who works a block down my office. Turkey salad with olives, tomatoes, cheese, and croutons with apples and strawberries.

Lastly, I decided to make lil P a small sandwich with chips for his snack for school. It was a last minute idea so...I have no clue what this is supposed to be. I guess I'll just call him "the little monster" haha...
